Internet Marketing From Scratch
Take a look around you, everywhere you look you see hundreds, possibly thousands of people clamoring for your attention. All of them making the same basic claim, “Click Here for Private Access to my Revolutionary, Copy And Paste System, Absolutely Guaranteed to take your Internet Marketing Business To The Next Level!”
In fact, you probably get the same message from several of the lists that you are on. It makes you start to wonder, “Is there ANYBODY out there that isn’t either offering or being offered Private Access, just how private can it be?”
Yes, private access is one of those buzz words that gets your adrenaline pumping, you want private access to get a jump on your competitors. Any edge you can get is welcome, but how long will your edge last if every one’s mother’s brother’s sister’s uncle’s neighbor’s using the same sharpening stone? About a minute and a half?
Getting a little off-topic there.
This is about starting an Internet Marketing Business, first creating your business, then making it better.
Get it started right, then move it up to the next level. So what do you need to start?
Just three things:
-
A Central Location where customers can find you and your service or product. In the brick and mortar world that would be a store or restaurant, on-line it’s your blog or website.
-
A Product, Service, or Opportunity that a lot of people are already spending money on.
-
An automated email follow up system to keep in touch with potential customers, an auto-responder service.
Once you have these three things in place, then it’s time to promote, advertise and work on stepping it up to the next level.
The first two steps can be completed fairly quickly, it’s the email series that causes beginners the most headaches.
Which brings us full circle, right back to the “Private Access Copy and Paste Systems.”
It seems too good to pass up, just plug it into your auto-responder system and move on to the next task, driving traffic.
There are two main problems with using “done for you” emails:
-
You don’t establish any real value in the eyes of your prospects.
-
If you aren’t the first one to send your prospect that email you look kind of silly.
Do it smart, do it yourself and in a few days you could be Internet Marketing From Scratch.
