Free, what a wonderful word. Just look at it, FREE, have you ever seen a more open and inviting word? But what does ‘free’ really mean? Look in the dictionary, free is defined as having liberty to do as you want, without needing permission from the Government or anyone else., except maybe your spouse.
It’s not until you get to the fourth to last possible use for the word ‘free’ that it says, “Without charge”. That’s what we will be talking about today the without charge part. Bear in mind that nowhere does it say, “without EFFORT”.
Where can you go to get your free personal perpetual lead procurer? Sorry, there’s no website or off-line store you can go to and buy one, remember, it’s free. Not to worry, keep reading and you will soon be ready, able, and hopefully willing to build your own personal perpetual lead procurer. Satisfaction guaranteed or double your money back, ha ha.
Step #1 Create A Free Blog
Okay, I really don’t like free blogging platforms, the conditions imposed over-ride the without charge part, I prefer to pay ten bucks a month for hosting, but I digress, and this is about doing it for free.
Head over to BlogSpot or WordPress.com and sign up, it only takes a few minutes.
Step #2 Article Marketing
To start out you need to write at least three to five keyword focused articles a week, then work up to one to two a day. Here’s the formula for a keyword focused article.
Main keyword in title
Total article length, 400 to 450 words.
Have about five paragraphs of approximately 80 words each.
Mention the keyword once each paragraph.
Hyper link the keyword towards the end of the article. (optional)
Direct your prospect to read your Resource Box.
Once you have written your article and crafted your Resource Box you will need to submit it to the top five Article Directories, the more the better, but start with these, in this order.
If time is a factor those five article directories are all you really need to submit your article to.
Now that your article is ready for submission it’s time for a ‘Catch 22’ BEFORE you submit your articles to the directories, first publish them to your blog. You did get your free blog, right?
Step #3 Video Marketing
Make a short video where you talk about the article you created, go over the high points and list what benefits your visitor will get by reading the article, you could even read the article aloud if you wanted to.
Once you’re happy with your video head on over to YouTube.com and post it with a link to the article at EzineArticles, the most well-known Directory.
Take a step back and look at all you have just done, you wrote an article, used it as a blog post first, submitted it to the top Article Directories, then repurposed your content as a video. One piece of content, seven different places for your prospects to find you., more if your content goes viral.
Is that all there is to it? Yes, and no.
Follow these three steps and you will soon have leads coming in on a daily basis, what you do with them and where you send them is a whole ‘nother story, stay tuned.
