As America celebrates her Independence from tyranny it’s important to remember that The Declaration of Independence is not what made America a Free Country.
What made America free were the long years of bloody battles that followed July 4, 1776.
It was the steadfast resolution to not be defeated, to fight on when all hope seemed lost that set the American Colonies free in 1783.
If something is that important to your life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, isn’t it worth fighting for all you’re worth?
You make a decision, a choice, you resolve to see it through, you then use every ethical method at your command to make it happen.
Is this where you are in your business? Have you declared your financial independence to yourself, your friends and family?
If you haven’t, it could be what’s holding you back.
It’s a big step, a scary step, putting your ego and self-worth on the line.
It’s like Babe Ruth preparing to make his historic home-run, he pointed to the outfield with his bat. That was it, do or die. Win big or go home in defeat.
When later asked what he would have done had he failed he simply shrugged. There was no doubt in his mind that he would succeed.
That’s what it takes to win, go for broke, or stay broke.
Happy Independence Day
