No Gimmick Marketing

No Gimmicks No Gimmick MarketingSounds like an oxymoron doesn’t it? If you don’t have your own unique ‘something’ how are going to get leads and sales?

No gimmick marketing has nothing to do with your Unique Selling Proposition or USP, your point of first contact offer.

“No gimmick” marketing is not looking for the next gimmick or magic button to explode your lead or traffic generation. Magic button products do almost everything they say they will, except the make money part.

When you’re training your new recruits to drive traffic to their sites you must have an easy to follow plan, a plan that works,  that they can start right now to get immediate traffic.

Easy to follow doesn’t mean “with as little effort as possible” like with the latest ‘Stealth Ninja Traffic Siphon*‘ gizmo coming out next week.

Gimmick marketing is why most Internet marketers fail, it’s not because they don’t know how to market on-line.

Most Internet marketers fail because they are always searching for a free, easy way to get someone else to do the work for them. All the work, not only out sourcing.

To succeed at Internet marketing you only need two things,

  1. A Product or Opportunity to market.
  2. A lot of eyeballs on your offer. (Traffic)

Once you have your offer ready to go, find a way to get traffic to it, then get good at that method. Keep doing the first method and find, then get good at a second method. Then keep doing it.

Learn, get good at it , then learn some more and get good at that too. Repeat until you have the traffic and income you want.

Looking for shortcuts slows you down, remember what Jim Rohn said,

“Don’t wish it were easier, wish you were better.”

Get better, learn to earn on-line.

  • Hi Mr cole,
(dont mind d Mister and sir,i’m one of the people in my part of Africa who likes keeping things formal). This is my first time of visiting your website and i’m glad i did. If you look at the name of my blog you should have a good guess that i’ve inadvertently taken on the image of the “no gimmick marketing” horde but i’m willing to change because the tone of your post shows a genuine intention to help people like me. I’d rather work with someone who makes money off me but is honest about it than someone who just wanna con me of my dripping income. I hope i can call you sometime and talk with you. I dont just want to have you as a mentor but also as friend and partner. Hope to get replied.

    Hi Olayori,
    Welcome to my blog.
I’ve tried a couple of them myself, they do sound so tempting and irresistable. After a while I learned.

It takes a while to find ways that work, and then figure out a way to teach it without a lot of extra steps.

I put together a site for the 99ers in my country to learn how to market on-line with out having to invest much at first. It’s 99er Relief Site. It’s intended for a specific opportunity that’s not available in Africa at this time.

You joined one of my lists after reading a comment I made on Anik’s blog, the ebook I sent you can get you started. I want to warn you it takes some hard work at first, but it’s worth it.

    Mike.
