Did my core stretching in one shot today, a whapping 22 minutes. I do it at one time more often than not. Just get it done and out-of-the-way. Too many people try to make getting and staying in shape out to be more fun than a barrel of monkeys, it’s not. No matter how great the hype, motivation, music or what not it eventually gets old and stale.
So once you accept that exercise is boring you can cut to the chase and get it done for the day.
Being in shape, on the other hand, is worth a few minutes of boredom a day.Waking up in the morning actually refreshed and full of energy, what a rush!
Did not really eat traditional meals at the usual time today, I’m a big boy and if I want to eat dinner at breakfast time, as is sometimes my wont, I do.
- 4:15 am I ate a bowl of Tony Chachere red beans and rice, WITH the optional Polish Sausage, about two cups of it.
- 9:15 am I ate baked chicken, a thigh and a drumstick, a cup of corn, about a cup of four cheese mashed potatoes and two buttermilk biscuits.
- 2:00 pm I finished off my bag of Buffalo Wings, only five of them, and a cup of macaroni and cheese.
- 5:30 I had an oven fried pork steak with a crispy coating, a cup of Idahoan Fully Loaded Potatoes, and a cup and a half of peas and carrots with butter.
Too bad I also had a twelve ounce can of Pepsi, I’m going to pay for that indulgence tomorrow. Actions have consequences, a moment of weakness can ruin a day’s work.
My weight was 179 pounds, six down, nine to go!
