I miscalculated a bit when I both gained weight and stopped working out to make this test, I shouldn’t have gained the weight.
Today I weigh 173 pounds, three pounds shy of the 170 pounds I was aiming for. Had I been a little more careful with what I ate I could have dropped the last three pounds.
Not too bad for the somewhat half-hearted way I went about it.
Especially when you consider how much time I spent working out;
- Week One 132 minutes. Just stretching and calisthenics.
- Week Two 166 minutes. Added some body weight and dumbbell exercises.
- Week Three 160 minutes. Cut back a little on the dumbbell and body weight exercises.
- Week Four 183 minutes. Went at it just a little bit harder.
All told it took me ten hours and forty-one minutes to lose 12 pounds and go from pot belly to noticeable abs. The whole point was to build six-pack abs without needing to do anything extreme, diet or exercise, and it works!
Still not a full six-pack but that should only take a week or two at the most.
