Build Six Pack Abs In Four Weeks – Take Two – Day Five
Friday January 25, 2013
Did my 22 minute core stretching routine today. It’s time I mentioned I typically do my morning calisthenics and stretches four to six times a week, very seldom do I do it seven days in a row. I also use light dumbbells for some of my calisthenics, either two or five pounders. The five-pound dumbbells are used for a modified horse stance punch to work the shoulders while working the core.. I use the two-pound weights for the standing bicycle crunch and two other moves. Thinking about upping the two-pound dumbbells to three pounds next week.
This first week back my main goal was to boost my metabolism, get the fat burning started.
4:15 am I ate two packets of Instant oatmeal, bananas and cream.
8:30 am I ate my favorite breakfast, two fried eggs, potatoes fried with onion, about one medium potatoes worth, and one sausage patty. No toast or biscuit, that was a weight gaining tactic I started when I decided gain weight just so I could lose it again.
2:00 pm I ate a chicken breast and cheese sandwich.
7:00 pm I ate two bowls of a chicken alfredo bake, chunks of chicken breast, cooked elbow macaroni, and alfredo sauce, covered in mozzarella cheese. Should have stopped at one.
I ate too late and too much, we’ll see how much it hurt tomorrow. The better and more sensibly I eat the faster the weight comes off.
I screwed around a couple of days at the beginning here to demonstrate how much, “Just a little won’t hurt.” really does hurt. The Pepsi I drank yesterday gave me a pound back, the second helping of chicken alfredo didn’t help much either, luckily it didn’t hurt much.
Sunday is going to be a rest day, I can take as many as three days a week off as long as they are done separately.
My weight was 180 pounds, five down, ten to go!
Getting My Six Pack Back,
