Every now and then it’s good to talk about the basics, as experienced Internet marketers sometimes forget that not all of the people coming on-line every day know all of the terms.
Unique Selling Proposition (USP)
Your Unique Selling Proposition is what defines you on-line. What you are bringing to the table to improve the lives and businesses of your potential leads and customers.
Looking at it another way, your prospect has 29 people all saying they can help make them successful, why should they listen to you and not one of the other 28?
What do you stand for? Which group of people are you serving? Once you know what your market is the better you can relate to them and provide what they need.
It’s not enough to say, “I help people make money.” Way too generic, what people? There are billions to choose.
Much more effective to say,”I show people of limited means how to quickly build an on-line business with a minimal investment using mostly free tools and techniques.
On the surface it seems you lost out on a lot of prospects, in reality you made it far easier for the people you service to find you and your help.
