List Subscribers, Want Some-Get Some

Earlier this week my friend Susanna Hess wrote about The Ultimate Blogging Giveaway.

My first thought was, “Another JV Giveaway, people giving away the same worn out tired stuff that they were given, trying to build their lists with someone else’s free product or ebook.”

But I know Susanna’s going places and doesn’t like to waste her time, so I took a look, sorry about the rhyme.

Glad I did, this isn’t the same old, same old JV Event. There is actually a lot of new, original work being offered. Not just a bunch of different people trying to give away the exact same thing.

I hurriedly repurposed a couple of reports I’d written, built Capture Pages for them, found a cool site where I could create ecovers without needing to use Photoshop, and only nine bucks a month service fee.

Here’s the down low, less than two days into the event I have 48 subscribers to the two lists I created for the Giveaway. And I’m near the end of a very long list of Contributors.

How responsive they will be remains to be seen, but 48 new people for about 12 hours of work?

Can’t complain, who wants to hear that anyway? And 12 more days to go.
