No Hassle Weight Loss On A Budget
Every year, all year-long, we’re bombarded by commercials telling us the best, fastest way to lose weight by one celebrity or another. The ads are just so appealing, just purchase the prepackaged food and you’re on the way to a better, thinner you.
The problem is you could feed a family of four on the same amount of money with a little careful shopping. Depending on which plan you choose, maybe not so careful shopping.
- Jenny Craig tops the list for as little as $15.00 a day or $450.00 month.
- Medifast starts out at $315.00 month for the basic plan.
- Nutisystem is the least costly at $8.00 to $10.00 a day or $240.oo month.
Of course you will pay a little more for the months with 31 days.
There is a far less expensive way to go, your local grocery store or Super Market has all you need in the frozen foods section!
Lean Cuisine has a variety of 250 to 380 calorie meals for a Dollar each.
Michelina’s entrées can cost as little as 88 cents a piece.
You can eat three or four tasty low-calorie meals a day and save money!
Want something sweet for a tasty low-calorie between meal snack?
Well, YES!
Head on over to a Dollar Store and pick up a package of Mrs. Freshley’s Fruit and Grain Cereal Bars. You get six 100 calorie bars for a buck.
Sample Menu
- 5:00 am One Cereal Bar $.17
- 8:00 am One Michelina’s entrée $.88
- 12:00 pm One Lean Cuisine Meal $1.00
- 2:30 pm One Cereal Bar $.17
- 6:00 pm One Lean Cuisine Meal $1.00
- Total Cost $3.22 A Day or $99.82 A Month
With meal costs that low you can lose weight while keeping your pocket-book fat.
For contrast, the Medifast Diet has you eating five or six 100 calories meals every two to three hours with a salad for the evening meal. If you were inclined to go that route, six 100 calorie snacks, can’t really call it a meal, you could conceivably have a box of cereal bars a day for only one Dollar, then have a salad for dinner.
