Dream Big, Then Start Small

Dream Big Then Start Small Dream Big, Then Start SmallIt’s late Friday Night, you’ve just finish watching a content filled, value packed Webinar from a Breakthrough Internet Marketer who’s taking the ethernet by storm. You never heard of him or her before last week, now, suddenly, you can’t go on-line without hearing the buzz, so much buzz it’s deafening.

You’ve had chills running up and down your spine since the first five minutes, the Brand New Hotshot was a bigger loser than anyone you know, last month. Now he’s on the top of the world and wants to throw you a rope, and not to hang yourself with.

Then it got intense, the chills migrated from your spine to your arms, you’re shaking almost uncontrollably from sheer excitement. This is it, the one you’ve waited for your whole life, the end of your living Nightmare and the beginning of realising your dreams.

You control your shakes just enough to break your mouse on the ‘Go to Cart’ tab, $497.00 is a pittance when compared to finally, finally, realising your dream of time and money freedom.

You crack open your new course and it’s mind-boggling how much training he packed into the first module, and there’s 9 more to go! You can’t wait to get started, but, it’s pushing Midnight and your day began at 4:00 am. Best to start wide-eyed and bushy-tailed in the morning.

It’s Saturday morning and the crack of dawn wakes you up, not that you got a lot of sleep. Too many plans racing through your head, all those thing you can now do, all with the help of your Flavor of the Month.

You excitedly log in and break out module one, you can clearly see how Super Newbie laid out the plan in excruciating detail, no stone left un-turned.

You race through Steps 1, 2, and 3. This is fun, it’s easier than falling off a bike, why didn’t you invent it, you ask yourself.

Then Step Four, WTF is that? Is that even possible? I don’t even know of any one who can teach me how to do that.

You skip ahead to step five, not easy, but you already know how to do it. Step six you can handle, it’s actually your strong suit, except steps five and six are worthless without first completing step four.

Reality steps in, buyer’s remorse. They LIED to me, they said I could do this.

They probably said you could do it with the right kind of training, you know, the up sell. Not black, not white, a kind of muddy gray.

Sound Familiar?

Here’s the thing, Super Newbie didn’t lie to you, didn’t exaggerate, not even a bit. He just doesn’t know what you don’t know. I said Super Newbie for a reason, it’s his first time out, he’s not even close to being as confident as he sounds.

It never even entered his mind that there might be someone who can’t do what he did. He did say he wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, didn’t he? They almost always do.

It’s All About Your Continuing Education

Internet Marketing is about learning new skills and then applying them, hopefully in some sort of orderly fashion.

Dream Big, Then Start Small, remember, weather experts say an errant breeze in the Himalayas can cause a hurricane in the Pacific Ocean.
