It’s common for someone just starting out in a Network Marketing business to focus on making money. After all, that’s what got you started in the first place.
It seems to make sense, you are in business to make money, right? Yes, of course why else would you put in the time and effort?
Strangely enough, when you focus on customer service instead you earn more, faster. Happy customers spend more and come back more often.
Focus on giving good value to your clients both before and after the sale and the money will be there. Don’t chase the money. Give good value and let the money chase you.
Another beginners mistake is not being willing to invest in their new business. Starting a new business takes time and effort.
Many people believe that their Network Marketing Company will build their businesses for them. I mean they advertise, right?
After your initial investment you still need to learn how to work your business profitably. You wouldn’t start a new job without being trained would you? No, you have to be taught first.
It is even more important when running your own business. You must get the proper training or your business will fail.
The third biggest mistake is not taking your business seriously. Too many people think that since they work from home they don’t really have a real business.
So they don’t. They play when they should be working and can’t understand why nothing is working.
How To Beat The Three Biggest Mistakes.
1. Just want to make money. Focus on your customers. Concentrate on giving high value and you will have a customer for life, and they may bring friends.
2. Not willing to invest in their business. Learn a new skill every week. Training doesn’t have to be expensive. Start with the lower cost courses first, as you learn your cash flow will improve and you can get the more expensive training.
3. They don’t take their business seriously. The best way to take your opportunity serious is in your initial investment.
Many Network Marketing Opportunities can be started for $25.00 to $30.00. Easy painless way to get started. And also easy and painless to ignore.
Don’t go for the lowest cost option. Get the biggest starter package you can, if you paid $500.00 to $1,000.00 to start you can be sure you’re going to take it much more seriously.
Give good Value, invest in your training and education, and get serious

Hey Michael!
You're right on about having to treat it like a business and learning new skills. Unfortunatly, a lot of people who get involved don't see it this way at all. Therefore, how can the lead and be prosperous…they can't! It's not a job where someone tells you when to work and when to clock out. It's up to you to do it.
Great points you make!

Hi Twila,
Part of the problem is the low start up cost, some people don’t really believe they can make real money from home.So instead of a business they have a dream and a hobby.
