It can be a small change like switching to decaf, 18 days to a less jittery you.
You could decide to take the two flights of stairs after a hard day at the office, your mind burdened by the challenges of the day, to get your blood pumping again. 18 days to a leaner, more fit and energetic you.
These two pretty small changes can have a significant effect on your world, if you don’t give up and keep at it until you succeed.
What if the change needed isn’t small?
What if you are sick and tired of being sick and tired and everywhere you look and turn you see insurmountable walls of defeat and despair, ready to come crashing down on you?
That is what faced Egypt’s young, educated, and unemployed workers just 19 days ago. What started and remained a largely peaceful protest for gainful employment grew into a full scale revolution that toppled a repressive regime.
In 18 days.
Starting with nothing, no jobs, no money, and precious little of anything else they only had one thing going for them.
A Burning Desire.
A focused, determined will to succeed. A desire to have what they see in other counties, freedom.
What does the Egyptian Revolution have to do with Internet Marketing?
Everything, it shows how you can start an endeavor with no assets but your time and your will to create a better world for yourself, and others.
Every new obstacle the Egyptian government threw at the protesters only served to strengthen their resolve to win their freedom and win it peacefully. Not even staged attacks by a desperate regime could sway them from their goals and convictions, freedom through peaceful civil disobedience.
The lesson for Internet marketers is this:
It doesn’t matter what tools and assets you may have, it’s how and if you choose to use them that makes all the difference.
